The Coupeville Creative District Cultural Center was introduced in a story Jan. 17 in the South Whidbey Record.

The cultural hub location is hosted by Tony and Michelle Cladusbid, owners of Beaver Tales Coffee.

“Beaver Tales is now home to the swədəbš Cultural Center. The word swədəbš has a couple of pronunciations: “Schwedobs” or “Schwedops” which means People of the Salmon in the Coast Salish Lushootseed language, Michelle Cladusbid explained in an earlier article.”

Michelle emailed, asking that the upcoming community event be promoted. The information is taken from the Coupeville Creative District website.
